New Water Villa Jacuzzi & Day Bed pictures

hello all

i have just returned from my honeymoon in meeru and thought i could clear up some of the confusion over the water villas / jaccuzi water villas.

jaccuzi water villas = on stilts out over the water

water villas = on the beach at the waters edge with steps going into the sea

jacczi land villas = on the beach , only a few have a decent sea view ( 200's seemed on best part of beach)

******* some of the water villas now have jaccuzis ******

these are the first 10 rooms in the low 500's HOWEVER !!! there is a reason only these few have had the jaccuzis fitted.....

meeru intend to fit all the water villas with jaccuzis but the best water villas ( rooms 528 and 529 ) are always full as they are so popular so they never get chance to do the work , they are booked in to be fitted in july 09.

the reason they are the best room is that most of the water villas feel a bit on top of each other , they are in a straight line along the beach and if you swim out to sea you are overlooking each other.

at the top of the island the beach curves around a corner and rooms 528 and 529 are around this corner and seem much more private with their own private little section of beach.

i stayed in room 528 and it was great , we made friends who were staying in a jaccuzi water villa out at sea and they actually prefered our room to theirs... they do not have 4 poster beds in jaccuzi water villas but water villas do.

also the sea is much calmer around the water villas for dipping in the sea as they are nearer to shore , the jaccuzi water villas have currents near them so not great for swimming plus they obviously have no beach area

thanks all for the good reports! I think the lower 500s from 503 to 515 have jaccuzis now! AND Yes i can think why the rooms 528 or 529 are so popular...at the end th private area is bigger! Do theses 2 rooms have jacuzzis in it in August 2009? Somebody know??? Then maybe i will try to get it ;-)
