Meeru Island Resort & Spa is proud to have been featured in Forbes’ article, “The World’s 15 Most Beautiful Places (A Scientific Study),” where Meeru was ranked second in the world.
The study, conducted by UK travel company Kuoni, used eye-tracking technology to determine which destinations naturally capture people’s attention. Participants were shown images of 50 famous natural landmarks, while their eye movements were measured to identify which places were the most visually appealing.
Meeru stood out strongly in the results, and was the only beach destination to appear within the top 15.

This recognition is a wonderful celebration of the natural beauty that makes Meeru so special — from our pristine white beaches and crystal-clear waters, to the lush greenery and the sense of space that defines the island.
We are honoured to be included among some of the world’s most extraordinary natural landmarks, and we thank our guests and team for continuing to make Meeru a place that captures the heart — and now, the science.
